With a partnership grant from our Foundation, Sterling High School was able to bring The Switch Lab, a project based learning opportunity to our students. This re-usable Electric Vehicle kit allows students to break down and rebuild an electric car during their physics course. The electric car build supports additional labs related to electric relays, velocity, acceleration, and friction. The learning experiences available through the labs and car build are designed to allow students to work with their hands, problem solve, learn about systems, and gain experience in cutting-edge automotive technology. At Sterling High School, we will continue to work to see our vision for students to experience hands-on college and career readiness experiences and prepare them for the innovative world after high school.
