This year in Agriculture Education at Sterling High School we have five classes being offered which include: Natural Resources, Plant and Animal Biology, Vet Science, Introduction to Agriculture and Animal Science! Natural Resources and Plant and Animal Biology are both brand new classes to the school so we are very excited to see how our students like them. Natural Resources is focused on the outdoors, our students will learn everything from navigation to fish and wildlife management. In the Plant and Animal Biology, class students will learn about animal science in the fall and plant science in the spring.
Agriculture Education also includes FFA, which we are also so excited about this year. We have several new members and many great events planned for our students and community. A few of our goals are to get the student body more involved, volunteer in our community, and work with our middle school Ag teacher, Mrs. Julie LeFevre, and her ag classes. Check out our Facebook page "Sterling High School FFA" to stay updated on upcoming events!
